Welcome to Harlequins Lodge
Whether you are a freemason or interested in finding out more about Freemasonry, and perhaps joining us, we heartily welcome you to our web site.
Harlequins No.5793 belongs to the Masonic Province of South Wales, the number 5793 represents our chronological position on the register of the United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body of freemasonry, and we are a long-time member of the Federation of School Lodges.
We were formed in 1939, we are one of six School Lodges in the Province of South Wales, and therefore entitled to wear the School Tie of the “Cardiff High School Old Boys”. We have a long and friendly association of visiting other School Lodges, both in this Province and others. We enjoy both the serious side of Freemasonry and the end of evening experience where everyone can dine, have a drink and relax in good company.
We currently have members of all ages and interests, and from many walks of life. Such a variety brings a spontaneous group of like-minded men together in a spirit of mutual respect. We also encourage our members to include their families in all aspects of their membership, especially our varied social and charitable events; it is only with their support, that a man truly becomes a mason.
You will find interesting facts about our history, news of forthcoming meetings and social events and information about becoming a Freemason. Please feel free to explore our site and the links therein. If you have any questions, or would like to know more about us please do not hesitate to get in touch.
